Wiping Drives and Free Space with SDelete
SDelete is a free program from Microsoft's TechNet Sysinternals collection. It runs from the command line, and can be used to wipe drives, wipe files, or wipe free space.
Time Needed: Varies; from a few minutes to several hours, depending upon size and speed of drive and computer
Software: TechNet Sysinternal's SDelete, available from http://technet.microsoft.com
Media: Can be run from Windows desktop
1. Download SDelete.
2. Extract the contents of the compressed file.
3. Copy sdelete.exe to c:\windows\system32\ (this will enable you to run it from any location)
4. Open a command prompt session with Administrator rights.
5. To wipe all files on drive X: and its subdirectories and to wipe free space, enter Sdelete -p 2 –s -z X:\*.* (to see all command-line switches, enter Sdelete with no options)
6. Wait; the program displays status messages as it runs. When the program is finished, you can reuse or dispose of the drive

Gir deg tilgang til kopieringsfunksjonen. Det du har merket, enten i Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Windows Utforsker eller andre programmer bli kopiert til utklippstavlen. Du får ingen umiddelbar respons, men ting skjer bak kulissene.
[Ctrl] + X

GJør merket tekst om til kursiv. I enkelte programmer er denne kombinasjonen [Ctrl] + K.
[Ctrl] + F
I de fleste programmer får du opp en søkefunksjon. I norsk utgave av Office gir derimot dette deg fet skrift.
[Ctrl] + B
Normalt sett gir dette deg fet skrift (bold) på markert tekst. Hvis du derimot benytter norsk Office så gir denne kombinasjonen deg søkeboksen.
Mer avanserte funksjoner
[F5]
Oppdateringsknapp - mest brukt i nettlesere, men fungerer også i andre typer programmer hvor man kan ha nytte av å oppdatere innholdet, som for eksempel i et FTP-program.
[Win] + E
Merkelig nok en svært lite kjent tastekombinasjon, men svært nyttig. Ved å benytte denne kombinasjonen får man opp et Windows Utforsker/Explorer-vindu.
[Alt] + [Tab]
Hvis du har flere vinduer oppe av gangen er denne funksjonen fin for å hoppe mellom forskjellige vinduer.
Ved å holde inn Alt-knappen og trykke Tab én gang får du opp en liten meny på skjermen med alle vinduer du har aktive, og så kan du bla gjennom disse ved å trykke flere ganger på Tab.
Denne fungerer også i spill og andre programmer som dekker hele skjermen, og du kan da enkelt hoppe tilbake til skrivebordet uten å avslutte spillet.
[Alt] + [F4]
Lukker det aktive vinduet i Windows.
[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [F4]
Lukker det aktive vinduet inne i et program. Har du for eksempel oppe flere bilder i et bildebehandlingsprogram, så lukker denne funksjonen det aktive bildet, men ikke hele programmet.
[Win] + M
Minimerer alle vinduer slik at du kun ser skrivebordet.
[Win] + L
Låser datamaskinen - uten å logge av - slik at du må skrive inn passord for å komme inn igjen. Praktisk hvis du skal gå fra PC-en noen minutter og ikke vil at noen andre skal rote med dine dokumenter.
[Win] + F
Åpner søkevinduet til Windows slik at du kan søke etter filer og mapper.
